"Spacehawks..." is made entirely of unwanted noise and discarded, imperfect samples.

The samples were processed in real time with contact mics on turntable casings, feedback loops, audio tape spliced, heated and stretched, spy "bugs" broadcasting on shortwave radio and other strange ways to spend your time alone...
